Everywhere around us is data waiting to be collected and utilized. In recent years, we've seen the rise of applications and services that exist to quantify concepts that were previously hard to capture. FitBit, Apple Health, and Woop are all $1 billion dollar services to offer tracking statistics about how we live our lives. The LifeTracker app you'll be building will do exactly that - track your life by quantifying your activity.
By the end of this project you will be able to...
- Develop a full-fledged authentication system using PostgreSQL and
bcrypt
- Provide users with an Express API they can interact with to store user-related activity
- Construct multiple models that implement the core business logic associated with tracking users' lives
- Write SQL queries that aggregate user statistics and provide summary overviews about their activity
- Design a React frontend that interacts with the API using an API service class
- Build multiple pages and forms that communicate with the server using HTTP requests

- The Landing Page: Display a large hero image and a brief blurb on what this application is about. Note: This is the only page that unauthenticated users should be able to view.

- Login Page: A form that allows users to login with email and password.
- When a user first authenticates, they should be redirected to an authenticated view (i.e., the detailed activity page). When they sign out, all frontend data should be reset.
- The Nav Bar: Implement customized views for users who are logged in vs not logged in.

Implement any of the following features to improve the application:
