Add PySyft to wishlist

Proposed by blodarn

Website: https://openmined.org/
Upstream repo: https://github.com/OpenMined/PySyft
License: https://github.com/OpenMined/PySyft?tab=Apache-2.0-1-ov-file#readme
Description: Perform data science on data that remains in someone else's server.

  • Confirm app is self-hostable and generally makes sense to possibly integrate in YunoHost
  • Confirm app's license is opensource/free software (or not-totally-free-upstream, case by case TBD)
  • Description describes clearly and concisely what the app is/does

Interesting app, but I'm worried about the ridiculous requirements (https://docs.openmined.org/en/latest/deployment/deployment-doc-1-2-intro-req.html#resources), the lack of baremetal installation instructions (maybe a development server is OK), and that they almost always suggest to run the server in a Jupyterlab notebook.

... and also it seems a little bit off the scoop of YunoHost project

The way I understood their doc is is that PySyft allows you to create what they call "the datasite" and put it online.
https://docs.openmined.org/en/latest/deployment/deployment-doc-4-1-deploy-with-docker-debian.html

When it comes to request to the datasite, propose research study, asking for permissions, it would be with a Jupyter instance that could be anywhere.

So any data owner could create a datasite via PySyft on Yunohost and share it.

!reject Huge requirements, no selfhosting documentation, niche use case.
