MPDroid is available in beta version using the new Play Store's beta system. In order to join the beta, you must join [this Google+ community] (https://plus.google.com/communities/102640240614624288189) and follow the instructions after clicking on the link that I posted in the community.
Note that by definition, beta software may be buggy. Please reports problems you have with this version in the bugtracker.
