Introduction

A component adds support for a specific technology or protocol. The SFTP component for example let you send or receive files from a SFTP server. All components are listed on the Camel Component Reference.

Documentation

Every component has extensive documentation. When selecting a component in an Assimbly endpoint this links directly to Camels Component reference. There is also a link to the component page on this wiki. The Assimbly wiki enhances the Camel documentation with an explanation, examples and screenshots.

Support of Camel components

Some Camel components will work out of the box with just the URI (for example the FILE component). Others need extra configuration. Assimbly doesn't support all components. The components listed below in "Component pages" are build-in and tested. Other components can be selected and are downloaded on start of the flow. Support for components not listed below is best effort. If you need support for a specific component please create a new issue.
