Votes are represented as numbers between -1 and +1, with '-1' meaning 'no', '0' meaning 'abstain', and '+1' meaning 'yes'. But you can use '++1' to express your feelings like 'Wow! That's hot stuff! Let's do it!'. TMC and PSC members have binding votes, all others are kindly asked to participate but their votes will be considered of an indicative or advisory nature only.
Votes are used for:
- pull request - majority rule for binding votes (TMC members)
- releases - majority rule for binding votes (TMC members)
- feature requests - There is no minimum quorum or that a -1 constitutes a veto. PSC and TMC consider the poll as a basis of decision-making.
We are influenced by the Apache Voting Process.
