so we are getting IRCs then? neat. will kind mess with the revive balance if someone can be more easily revived from just making a robot body unless you heavily balance it. NT will basically have no purpose....well neither will medbay.

Moesci and Moemed are both Moebius, and you could already revive people through blank bodies or putting heads on monkeys iirc

1.Yeah they are both aligned but actively stealing medicals opportunity to do their thing is still is kinda eh...
2.I think doing slapping a head on another body causes rejection so its not ideal unless you are actively trying to make them miserable for the rest of the round.

This is not even getting into having yet another revival avenue making NT cloning even more
irrelevant.

First, NT had a complete monopoly on ressurection, in echange for a full lock on augments, genetics, and command roles. Then, Moe got the resusicator for 5 minutes after death. Then a buff to 15 minutes, and printable stasis bags. Now Moe can bring you back regardless of your death clock.
Woe unto NT

You're not supposed to randomly FBP someone, this is just here so people can pay to be converted midround.

No Reject mutation exists and is very easy to roll as a low tier.

I do think brains should rot and eventually lose their attached ckey if left out for too long in a dead body or open space, but that's not within the scope of this PR.

NT Also can now have prosthetics and mutations too

just lower the resus timer to like 7 or 10 minutes and make it a more limited window for slapping a brain into new body

Leave the timer as is people barely get revived at the moment because of incompetence or apathy

More discussion is needed since this is dealing with revives. Will revisit.

I mean, you could tie the revive timer directly to the brain so the FBP is an alternative to rez serum instead of a thing you can use whenever. NT would still have the advantage of not worrying about timers.

These code comments would be a fine addition to Eris. Alas, this PR would hurt NT too much in it's current implementation.

This should be a proper alternative to slapping monkey heads. Truly, what would be more immersive, making a blank, headless body and carefully stitching the deceased's head to it, then starting the heart, or slapping the aforementioned head on a monkey and calling it a day?
Dunno how to implement that, but using monkeys is too funny to be a viable revification tactic. muh immersion's ruined.

idea: remove NT

Just add a punishment for dying, reset their stats back to their default when revived this way, label it in-game as "brain degradation". My two cents for a stop-gap to more immediate implementation, at least, @SirRichardFrancis your thoughts on this?
