Using the proper connectiq android SDK instead of a localhost webserver would help to avoid the problem that the Garmin Connect App refuses the connection from gimporter to gexporter, if the phone has no internet access...

Well, AFAIK there is no way to import data as FIT or GPS. At least there was not, when I created the app. Please let me know, if they added such API in the meantime.

The only thing we could exchange is the listening port of the web server, so it would not have to be hardcoded.

For having coded the same need there was nothing 2 months ago, that the http can have an answer with a fit.
