Hi
I use Gentoo and not found ebuild (unoficial too). My change - add ebuild for version 2.39.4 Heroku

Would it be possible to convert this to a format like these exporters so that it can be more easily maintained?

Got it. I'm not sure. Let's see what I can do.

Unfortunately, I am not a ruby programmer. Format rake could not make it work. However, support is simple: 1.ebuild-file is renamed according to the current version (its content does not vary and depends SRC_URI = "http://assets.heroku.com/heroku-client/heroku-client.tgz"), 2. (Not required) to re-create the Manifest. In Gentoo can re-create the Manifest command
'ebuild //heroku-.ebuild digest'.

We can do that, we, the users themselves :)

Can be Gentoo-man, who knows how to write for rake.
