Pypyrus advanced example

Overview

This repository serves as advanced example showcasing the capabilities of Pypyrus, a powerful file generation tool. In this example, Pypyrus is utilized to create Terraform files to create Storage account with conditional option.

Usage

Prerequisites

Ensure you have Pypyrus installed. If not, you can install it using:

pip install pypyrus

Running Pypyrus

Follow the prompts and provide the requested information:

  • module_name: Enter the name of the Terraform module.

  • resource_group_name: Enter the name of the resource group (required).

  • location: Enter the location (default: France Central).

  • storage_account_name: Enter the name of the storage account (default: mystorageaccount).

  • replication_enabled: Do you want replication? (choices: [true, false], default: false).

  • replication_type: Select the replication type for the storage account (choices: ["LRS", "GRS", "ZRS", "RAGRS"], default: "LRS") with a condition based on replication_enabled.

Generated Files

Upon completion, Pypyrus will generate the following files:

  • {{ module_name|slug }}/main.tf: Terraform main configuration file.

  • {{ module_name|slug }}/outputs.tf: Terraform outputs configuration file.

  • {{ module_name|slug }}/variables.tf: Terraform variables configuration file.
