This PR adds a
markdownlintpre-commit check, which helps to make sure our markdown files are well-formatted. I have added a.mdlrcand amdl_style.rbfile to provide a custom configuration to the linter, as there are a few rules that I think we can ignore/modify. The PR also includes the necessary changes to the various markdown files to adhere to the new checks. Apologies for the large PR!
