openni2-frame-extraction

A Google Colab example to extract color and depth frames from .oni files.

You can read the .oni files using OpenNi2 Driver (saved in lib/ directory).

Requirements

• OpenCV
• Numpy
• Openni2

All requirements are already supported by Google Colab, except openni2 library.

Tested Datasets

• TVPR (https://vrai.dii.univpm.it/re-id-dataset)
• TVPR2 (https://vrai.dii.univpm.it/content/tvpr2-dataset)

Authors used an Asus Xtion PRO Live camera to record depth and color streams.
