Change From a NiMH battery to a LiPO battery #22

Hi, I used to use a NiMH battery https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P7X4KIS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1 To get more power, I have changed to a LiPO battery https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0716T67QN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 In the BLDC tool, I have changed the min input voltage from 8v to 15v. Is there anything else I need to change? Can the VESC and motor adjust to this high voltage battery?
