This page demonstrates key points of using the analyses within the tools. These analyses fall into several categories:

The geometry-informed characteristics are included into the RoundTetherDesign object, since they directly rely on the tether's construction to be calculated. It consists of the mass estimation/breakdown, estimation of yield strength bounds, and rules of thumb used to estimate the tether's minimum bend radius.
The other analyses take a RoundTetherDesign object and some additional information as an input and informs on the operation of the tether design in terms of its electrical/comms characteristics, power transmission ability, and spooling estimations.
