INPE Deter data

INPE Deter provides vector data about Amazon deforestation. This information is used in InfoAmazonia to show recent deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest.

If you find a bug or any other problem, please open an issue.

Updating the map

Copy or clone this repository locally and run:

./install.sh

This will create a project in your TileMill install and update this map with current INPE-DETER information.

Requirements

• Spatialite 3.1.0
• Python
• TileMill (or the ~/Documents/MapBox/project should exist)

Note: If you are using Ubuntu, first run:

 sudo apt-get install python-gdal
 lib/shapemerger.py
