Installation Steps on Windows

Graphical Installer (Recommended)

Git has a graphical installer for Windows that can be found here. You should be fine with leaving all of the configuration options at their defaults. This will install both a basic GUI and a command line interface for Bash that will make it easy to use Git on Windows the same way you would use it on other platforms. Easy!
