This is a fun little Chrome extension that reminds you to study every time you open a new tab.
The extension works by injecting a content script into every page you visit. The content script sends a message to the background script, which then fetches the current URL and sends it back to the content script. The content script then sends a message to the popup script, which displays a reminder to study.
To set up the extension on your own computer, follow these steps:
-
Clone the repository to your computer: git clone https://github.com/pranavshuklaa/Code-Helper
-
Open Google Chrome and go to the extensions page by typing
chrome://extensions
in the address bar. -
Turn on "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top-right corner.
-
Click the "Load unpacked" button and select the folder where you cloned the repository.
-
The extension should now be loaded and ready to use.
