The latest version of shiki fixes the failure by supporting these language types: https://github.com/shikijs/shiki/blob/main/docs/languages.md#all-languages
unfortunately updating vitepress npm dep causes the navigation sidebar formatting to degrade, and npm does not provide a sane way to upgrade just shiki because it is a dep of a dep.
