Become a sponsor to Toni Barth
Hello! My name is Toni Barth and i'm a blind developer from Halle, Germany. I started developing back in school and quickly decided to center my life around that. While studying applied sciences and multimedia / game development I also worked as full stack web developer and continued my studies with a masters degree in interactive media programming right after finishing my bachelors. During that time, I started creating some interesting showcases of ideas flying around in my head, like a client-server version of the popular Cards Against Humanity game which is accessible to both sighted and visually impaired people.
Although not having worked on the larger scale open source projects out there yet, i've done some work on collaborative projects like the text-based implementation of the popular Yu-Gi-Oh card game. My other WIP projects include an experimental audio game library for the Python programming language, as well as BASS bindings for Python or a flexible audio book player with support for various external providers like FTP, SMB and more. Since thats far from all the things i've worked on, i'd recommend to do a quick browse through my repositories to get a glimpse of what i'm currently most interested in.
All that work has to share its time with my fulltime job however, so sponsoring me is no necessity at all, and all of my work will continue even without supporting me financially. It can however make my life easier and be a huge motivational boost on the way to building some great and accessible projects. The sponsoring will also allow you a bit of control over the priorization of my projects and issues.
