This is OSX release of wineasio 0.9.2.

Pre-compiled wineasio.dll.so binary is included!

Installation

Installing wineasio into OSX is a three step manual process:

  1. Install and configure JackOSX first: http://jackaudio.org/downloads/

  2. Copy wineasio.dll.so to the correct place inside the Wine app bundle. For example:

    /Applications/Wine Devel.app/Contents/Resources/wine/lib/wine/

  3. Register the DLL in a working prefix where you intend to use it. from the wine command line or with CMD.EXE:

    regsvr32 wineasio.dll

Once you have installed wineasio you can install one or more ASIO host applications of your choice into wine and get them working before trying wineasio. Some vst host apps that are known to work easily in wine include Reaper, VstHost, Cantabile2, EnergyXT and others.

Usage

Before launching an app that you intend to use wineasio, you must make sure JackOSX has been started.

After launching the app, configure it to use the WineASIO audio driver, then use the JackOSX router to send the audio where you want it. Enjoy!
