My journey started over a decade ago, running financial valuation models in the cloud. Those early experiences taught me a crucial lesson: in the real world, you can't just trust the outputs of your model. The complexity and uncertainty inherent in real-world decisions demanded a more sophisticated approach.

This realization led me deep into Bayesian inference and causal analysis – tools that help us think systematically about uncertainty and intervention effects. When you're making million-dollar decisions, you need to understand not just what the data says, but how reliable that information is and what would happen if you intervened - ideally, looking for the optimal action across many potential outcomes.

I'm obsessed with efficiency and continuous improvement in everything I do. Having led numerous business transformations and data-led projects, I've learned that the key to meaningful change lies at the intersection of technology, business value, and human behaviour (incentives! back to Economics 101).

I see Generative AI as the next frontier in this journey – not just as a technology, but as a transformation enabler that can deliver 100x improvements in how we work and create value. It's the perfect synthesis of my experiences: handling uncertainty at scale, driving systematic improvements, and creating tangible business value.

I'm pragmatic in my approach: every solution I build, whether it's a vanilla RAG system or an auto-fixing agent, is designed with real business impact in mind. This value-focused mindset, combined with my experience in change management, helps me bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI capabilities and practical business applications.
