### Custom License Agreement

Teia now includes functionality to generate a Custom License Agreement upon minting an NFT. This feature allows artists to define specific rights and usage terms for their work, offering greater control over how collectors interact with and utilize their creations.

This is particularly useful for artists who:

- Wish to license their work for commercial use (e.g., merchandise, branding, derivative works)
- Want to maintain some control over how their work is reproduced or displayed
- Need to establish clear terms for collaborations or derivative projects

#### How the custom license Works

1. Minting Page: Select "Custom License" from the "License" dropdown menu when minting an NFT. This will reveal a new section titled Custom License Generation Form.
2. Form Fields: The form includes checkboxes for common rights, such as:

- Right to Reproduce
- Right to Broadcast
- Right to Public Display
- Right to Create Derivative Works
- Release to Public Domain

4. Exclusive Rights: You can also define exclusive rights based on ownership share, allowing for options like:

- Majority Share (50%+)
- Super-Majority Share (66.667%+)

6. Addendum/Notes: An "Addendum/Notes" field allows for adding specific clauses, restrictions, and scopes to tailor the agreement further.

7. Agreement Generation: Once you have selected the desired options, a Custom License Agreement will be generated. This agreement is displayed on the minting page for your review.

8. Minting with Custom License: When you mint the NFT, the Custom License Agreement is permanently associated with its metadata and viewable on the NFT's detail page.

Important Notes:

- This agreement is a direct, private agreement between the artist and collector(s). Teia and Tezos are not involved in the deal itself.
- The agreement is recorded on-chain as documentation but is not directly enforced by the Teia platform.
- This feature is not retroactive; it only applies to new mints.
- Both the artist and the collector are responsible for understanding and adhering to the terms of the agreement.
- In case of any ambiguity, the work will default to "All Rights Reserved."

By offering this feature, Teia empowers artists with greater control over their creations in the NFT space, fostering a more nuanced and transparent environment for creators and collectors.
