Test strategy

Overview

This page describes current vision on the QA of the open-kilda project, contains strategy and its view, goals to introduce in the upcoming time, metrics and progress on the ones, current progress of its achievement

Strategy view

In the future we are aiming to automate testing processes using CI/CD principles and TDD approach to allow the fastest, more frequent and high-quality delivery as possible . In order to reach this goal we have to achieve next milestones:

• Scheduled and daily based wide regression
• Stable regression functional test suite without flaky tests
• Decrease runtime of the jobs up-to industry standard
• Migrate to the TDD process
• Introduce absolute automative CI/CD process
• Pass QA to the AI
