The transcoding functionality can now generate multiple versions of the single source file

  • As before, it can create a new file based on container, audio codec, video codec, or missing aac 5.1 codec, adding subtitles
  • Now, if its high resolution, it can create a HD version of the file as well
  • If its a high bitrate file, it can create a lower bitrate version as well

The options for video transcoding have changed.

  • You can not set quality bitrate based on the resolution (4k, HD, sub-HD)
  • You can chose the quality goal as either lossless, CFR or average bitrate
