What is a seed phrase?

Seed phrase it is a sequence of 12 or 24 words that necessary to restore access to the wallet. Be sure to save the seed phrase from the wallet in a safe place, never, under any pretext, pass the seed phrase to third parties!

I forgot to save the seed phrase, where can I find it?

See Settings menu -> Backup wallet.

What will happen to my funds if I lose my mobile device?

You need to install Trustee Wallet on the new device and import the wallet using the seed phrase. Settings menu -> Import wallet.

What methods of protecting my wallet are there in Trustee Wallet?

To enter Trustee Wallet, you can set a PIN code, as well as select an entrance using Fingerprint (Touch ID) or FACE ID.

I forgot my application PIN, what should I do?

Trustee Wallet does not have the usual way of recovering a PIN code, as there is no personal user data to contact it. To change the PIN code, you need to completely reinstall the application, import the seed phrase from the wallet and set a new PIN code.

How to change the PIN from the application?

Go to the Settings tab and select Change PIN, set and confirm a new PIN.

Can I import seed phrases from other wallets into Trustee Wallet?

Yes, you can import seed phrases from Metamask, MEW, Atomic, Paytomat and other non-custodial wallets into Trustee Wallet. The wallet supports seed phrases of 12 and 24 words.

Where can I find private keys for coin addresses?

In Trustee Wallet, all private keys are stored as seed phrases. We deliberately excluded the possibility of obtaining private keys for security purposes. Private keys can be obtained from seed phrases through the service https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ (For advanced users!).
