New function: - supports tags; - supports caching; - optionally splits packages into smaller sub-groups (set separate-sections and use-cache (recommended) or extra-verbose to activate); - takes into account --repository=url and -R url on the command-line; - can be used as a standalone completion function.
Fallback to slightly modified _gnu_generic for services that do match the pattern and don't have a respective completion function.

xbps-query -Rs ''. In other words, do you need some additional info during package name completion on a regular basis?
