Medical student

  2. Find other examples of a certain type of image
  3. Review an instructor's previously recorded notes (annotations)

Clinician

When a practicing clinician opens the application, they will likely want to do one of the following activities:

  1. Quickly load images from a specific server or web location
  2. Quickly open a virtual slide image
  3. Load annotations they created at an earlier date
  4. Create annotations on top of a remote image
  5. Share their annotations with a colleague
  6. Capture screen shots to share with their colleagues
  7. Create a dynamic report using one or more images

Educator

When a medical instructor opens the application, they will likely want to do one of the following activities:

  1. Quickly load images from a specific server or web location
  2. Quickly navigate to a course they created
  3. Present the course walkthrough via projector
  4. Create a new course from one or more images
  5. Share the course content rapidly with students
  6. Capture screen shots to share with their students

Researcher
