A simple chrome extension to track opening status of email send from Gmail.

An tracking image, 1x1 transparent pixel image, is added to email content. Most web server log IP address of any request along with referere and user agent.
IP address can used to locate geo position precision to City level.
This extension require a backend server to track image access log. We are using Google appengine, which also provide IP look up.

You should be able to load this repo folder as unpacked Chrome Extension. You will need compiles dependency files in "jsc" folder, which are available in http://ydn-src-1.storage.googleapis.com/
All UI components, data models and base utilities are released under GNU Lesser General Public License. Backend and database synchronization will not be open source, but license to partners.
