Investigator role
Investigator is responsible for preparing the inputs, that later the wetlab Manager, will be used to load the run inside iSkyLIMS.
These inputs are:
- Define Library name used in BaseSpace
- Upload index Kit Library
- Sample Sheet preparation
To define a new Library Kit select Run Preparation--> Add Library Kit from the top menu.
Then, a form is displayed to allow the investigator to add a new Library Kit.
On the right side of the form it is showed the Library Kits that are already in the system.
Enter the new Library Kit Name and submit the button .
Investigator has to define in advance the index adapters that his/her experiment must use, when using the commercial kit.
To define a new Library Kit select Run Preparation--> Add Index Library from the top menu.
To upload these indexes on iSkyLIMS, a text file has to be prepared with the following format:
