1 Introduction This document lists changes made to EonicWeb. ***INSTRUCTIONAL COPY TO GO HERE 2 Release Notes 2.1 EonicWeb 5.0.29.x New Features: • On logon redirect to root of the admin tree or normal if not specified • Implement targetCssFramework on the LayoutManifest for modules. 2.2 EonicWeb 5.0.28.x Massive break in documentation….. ! 2.3 EonicWeb 4.1.1.95 Released 10/03/2011 New Features: • For sites with membership, an optional restriction can be put in place to allow only one logged on instance of a given user at a time (i.e. a user can only be logged on in one session at a time) • For site developers, a facility has been added that allows related content to be synchronised with a file folder. E.g. adding a whole folder of images to content can be achieved with a single click. Enhancements: • For sites with ecommerce and Paypal, deposit payments can be processed. • For site developers, module behaviour can now be triggered on editing content. Fixes: • For sites with ecommerce and membership, the duplicate delivery address issue has been resolved. • For sites with membership, some of the “remember me” automated login functionality has been removed for now. 2.4 EonicWeb 4.1.1.89 Released 25/01/2011 Enhancements: • Added more filename options to admin site reports (unique id can be random or guid, as well as a date or sequence; report name can be omitted from the filename). Fixes: • Fixed an issue with posting content to Twitter where all posting options were unchecked • For ecommerce sites that use Paypal, a small fix where products have options (e.g. colours, sizes etc) • Fixed an issue with the system page redirection when the response should be either Login Required or Access Denied. Login Required is now an option in System Pages.

2.5 EonicWeb 4.1.1.87 Released 18/01/2011 New Features: • For developers, payment providers can be loaded into the site through separate library files. • For developers, automated data collection from forms is now possible with a framework for reporting • For sites with ecommerce, single item baskets can be enforced. Enhancements: • Significant performance gains in page build times. Fixes: • Fixed an issue with moving module content where the module did not retain cascade information and duplicated location information. 2.6 EonicWeb 4.1.1.71 Released 29/11/2010 Enhancements: • For developers, calendars can now jump to specific months with calCmd=yyyymm Fixes: • Email Sender field is not set if the From field is identical. 2.7 EonicWeb 4.1.1.69 Released 05/11/2010 Fixes: • For sites with ecommerce, fix to discount expiry and publish dates, where either was the current date. • Admin menu now shows Member Codes and Subscriptions correctly 2.8 EonicWeb 4.1.1.63 Released 14/10/2010 Enhancements: • E-mails sent from sites can now have plain text and HTML alternatives sent alongside each other, offering recipients a greater choice in how they receive e-mail and meeting e-commerce obligations in certain countries. • E-mails sent from sites by default have a Sender added to the e-mail header which helps indicate that e-mail is not spam. • For sites with e-commerce, e-mails can be set up to be automatically sent out when the order is shipped. Fixes: • Minor fix to the “multiple download as one zip file” feature. • Minor adjustments to the Mailing List image picking and module dragging features. 2.9 EonicWeb 4.1.1.61 Released 04/10/2010 Enhancements: • All form submissions now trim leading and trailing whitespace from the submitted information. • In admin, relating content workflow maintains links to the page that the parent content sits on. Fixes: • For developers, content forms with 1 way related content maintain the 1 way nature of the relationship • Minor fix to AJAX form submission for unauthorised users. • For sites with version control, fixed an issue in admin with login and registration pages 2.10 EonicWeb 4.1.1.59 Released 29/09/2010 Enhancements: • For sites with Mailing Lists, the process of updating list has been improved Fixes: • Minor fix to adding the URL to a automatic Twitter post • Minor fix with Copying content with a name of “Copy of…” 2.11 EonicWeb 4.1.1.57 Released 28/09/2010 New Features: • For sites with mailing lists, Mailing Lists integrate with Campaign Monitor • Twitter integration: posted content can be automatically tweeted. • For sites with ecommerce, discount codes can be read in from external links • For sites with ecommerce that take Direct Debit, we can now implement Postcode Anywhere’s banking validation (http://www.postcodeanywhere.co.uk/demos/bankvalidator.aspx) • For sites with ecommerce that use Paypoint, repeat payments can be set up. • For developers, a locally-run licensed version of eonicweb can now be obtained from Eonic. • For developers, download pages can now deliver multiple files as one zip file. Enhancements: • For developers, site setup processes have been extended – updating web settings can now not reset the application pool Fixes: • For sites with ecommerce, shipping options correctly pick up non-authenticated and authenticated user settings. • Fixed a problem with being redirected to the home page or “/Source-Image-Not-Found” when adding or updating content. • Fixed an issue with the Related Content form being brought up instead of saving content when pressing Enter. 2.12 EonicWeb 4.1.1.54 Released 12/08/2010 Enhancements: • For sites with Full Text Index search, the search has been completely rewritten and vastly optimised and extended. • For developers, added more options for site feeds. • For sites with searching, added the ability to track what is being searched for. Fixes: • For sites with Polls, fixed a small issue with blocked voters being able to revote. 2.13 EonicWeb 4.1.1.49 Released 21/06/2010 New Features: • For sites with Polls, individual votes can now be viewed and removed. Enhancements: • For developers admin menu can be customised more easily. • For sites with Full Text Index search, various enhancements to the indexing have been made. • For developers, added new options for site feeds. Fixes: • Fixed a bug where trying to return to page after saving related content would bring up the related content form. 2.14 EonicWeb 4.1.1.44 Released 24/05/2010 New Features: • For sites with ecommerce, introduced an Order Download tool (under Ecommerce > Reports) that offers a line-item CSV based download of order details. • For site developers, introduced a number of AJAX content calls including Delete. • For site developers, added Calendar Module. • For site developers, added Search Module. • For site developers, added cropping to Image Resize xsl functions. Enhancements: • For sites with site indexing, improved the site indexing data that is made available. Fixes: • For SagePay sites, updated reference URLs as per the bulletins recently sent out. • For sites with ecommerce, countries with ampersand characters (i.e. &) are now diplaying the ampersand correctly. • For site administrators, deleting folders in the resource library is now working. • For sites with ecommerce and discounts, fixed a minor bug around multiple BOGOF discounts in single orders. 2.15 EonicWeb 4.1.1.41 Released 07/04/2010 Enhancements: • For sites with site indexing, improved the site indexing data that is made available. • Search Engine Optimisation: when the “Page can not be found” and “Error” system pages are invoked, a 404 or 500 response code is now returned. • For sites that import feeds, by default existing feed items will be updated with the latest information, as opposed to the latest information being ignored. • For developers, there are 3 new XSLT functions ContentQuery, DeleteContent, UpdatePositions Fixes: • For sites with calendars, minor fix to calendar navigation. • For site administrators that use version history, minor fix to restore functionality. 2.16 EonicWeb 4.1.1.38 Released 28/01/2010 New Features: • Sites can now offer content and languages in multiple languages. • For sites with ecommerce, we have added the Paypal as a payment provider option. • For sites with membership, contact details can be created for users from addresses they have attached to orders. • For sites with ecommerce and membership, shipping options can now be restricted to user groups if required. • For administrators, added the ability to move groups of users across to a group in bulk. Enhancements: • For all sites, performance enhancements have been implemented. • For administrators, when adding content by default it will be placed at the bottom of the list of items it is being added to. • For sites with ecommerce, discount handling has been vastly sped up, with new discount methods, and more robust handling. • For sites with ecommerce, added clear information about transactions being Test transactions when running in test mode. • For sites with mailing lists, the group information is now recorded in the mailing history. • For developers, added flexibility to xform loading. • For deployers, improved the reliability of the setup facility. • For developers, added more information about the assemblies being referenced. • For developers, added the provision to share common resources between client sites. • For developers, added functionality for the incoming revision of the front end admin system . • For developers, added more diagnostic information in PerfLog. • For developers, content can be loaded in from files.

Fixes: • For sites with ecommerce, fixed an issue with repeat payments. • For sites with PremiumCredit, fixed an issue with the Seller Notes. • For administrators, minor fix to the Mail Manager. • Fixed an issue where uploading files in a form would not persist if the form needed further information. • For developers, fixed an issue where markup would always come back in

tags. • For sites with synchronisation, minor fix for error handling. 2.17 EonicWeb 4.1.1.34 Released (to Wellards1 only): 05/11/2009 Fixes: • Minor fix to site structure caching. • Minor fix to page setting in ecommerce. 2.18 EonicWeb 4.1.1.33 Released (to Peer1 only): 05/11/2009 Enhancements: • For sites with ecommerce that use SecPay from Paypoint we have extended the ability to use more than one Secpay profile dependent on access rights. Fixes: • Minor fix to forms that allow files to be uploaded. • Minor fix to page redirection after subscription purchases. 2.19 EonicWeb 4.1.1.32 Released (to Peer1 only): 30/10/2009 New Features: • Added the ability to run Polls on a website. Enhancements: • For site developers, added the ability to update page data structures in bulk. • For site administrators, improved the navigation when relating content. • For site administrators, improved the navigation when using Advanced mode. • For site developers, added the ability to added pages and related content in one form. Fixes: • For sites with ecommerce, fixed an issue with delivery options not showing up in very specific circumstances. • For sites with ecommerce, Terms & Conditions do not display if they have not been set. 2.20 EonicWeb 4.1.1.30 Released (to Peer1 only): 16/Sep/2009 Fixes: • For sites with ecommerce, minor fix to tax calculations on a products that have priced options. • For sites where attachments can be e-mailed, fixed an issue with attachments not being removed after sending. 2.21 EonicWeb 4.1.1.29 Released (to Peer1 only): 26/08/2009 Enhancements: • Added more options to e-mail forms in EonicWeb. • For sites with site index enabled, tightened the scope of what is indexed. 2.22 EonicWeb 4.1.1.28 Released (to Peer1 only): 18/08/2009 New Features: • Eonic.Syndication – automatically syndicate site content to distributors such as Technorati, Weblogs or via PingOMatic. Enhancements: • Automatic content import can now delete items as well as import. Fixes: • Minor fix to CC and BCC when EonicWeb sends e-mails. 2.23 EonicWeb 4.1.1.27 Released (to Peer1 only): 10/08/2009 Enhancements: • Enhanced discount handling. • Enhancements made to some background XSLT functionality. • Improved form validation when uploading files. Fixes: • Patched a minor issue with trying to access certain files under IIS7. 2.24 EonicWeb 4.1.1.24 Released (to Peer1 only): 31/07/2009 Fixes: • Patch to accommodate IIS7 rewrite rule methodologies. 2.25 EonicWeb 4.1.1.23 Released (to Peer1 only): 23/07/2009 New Features: • For sites with ecommerce, added the facility to set a fulfilment date for certain payment providers. • For sites with version control, added a notification feature for site administrators to be emailed content that is awaiting approval. Enhancements: • For sites with ecommerce, improved how discounts are displayed in the shopping basket. • Added a feature to allow customised content forms to link to other pages in a single click. • For site administrators, added more options in the Permissions and Rights sections. • Enhanced the automatic image resizing facility. Fixes: • For sites with ecommerce, minor fix to Premium Credit payment provider. • Minor fix to a related content issue that results in a recursive loop. 2.26 EonicWeb 4.1.1.22 Released: 03/07/2009 New Features: • For sites with ecommerce, added the facility to track Google Campaign Codes through a users cart. Enhancements: • Further improvements made to the setup routine. Fixes: • Minor fix to a template function that calculates the difference between dates. 2.27 EonicWeb 4.1.1.21 Released: 01/07/2009 New Features: • For sites with Version Control enabled, added the facility for user generated content to only be published once approved by a site administrator. Further version control features will be added in future releases. • Added the facility for Eonic to add quick links to content forms, allowing content to be easily located around a site in one step. Enhancements: • Added optional IP tracking of user activity. • Improved the Google Base Feeds for retail websites with product feeds. • For sites with ecommerce, added more configuration options, including how order receipts work. • Improved the performance of the image library in admin sites. • Site setup routines have been consolidated and improved. • Improved security and robustness when content is amended by non-administrators. • Previously, content could have only one level of related content. Now, content can have several levels of related content. Fixes: • For sites with ecommerce, problems with viewing order histories when the site has a large number of orders have been resolved. • Minor fix to the search engine optimisation of content links. • Minor fix to the interface that allows external data to be synchronised. • Minor fix to admin activity tracking when adding content. 2.28 EonicWeb 4.1.1.20 Released: 02/06/2009 Fixes: • Fixed an issue in the previous release resulting in the cart process looping between Notes and Billing stages. 2.29 EonicWeb 4.1.1.19 (Faulty) Released: 01/06/2009 Enhancements: • For sites with ecommerce, the framework has been enhanced to allow for greater flexibility when integrating other solutions, such as insurance quotation platform OpenQuote. Fixes: • For Paypoint SecNET (formerly SecPay) users, test transactions take into account the recent Visa mandate (live transactions were unaffected by the mandate). 2.30 EonicWeb 4.1.1.18 Released: 28/05/2009 Enhancements: • More enhancements to the search engine optimisation of content links. Fixes: • Fix to allow newletter sending history to be viewed. 2.31 EonicWeb 4.1.1.17 Released: 26/05/2009 New Features: • For sites with ecommerce, eoniccart can be integrated with Premium Credit • Version Control has been added, allowing the administrator to review historic changes to content. • Google Campaign Codes can now be integrated into site links. Enhancements: • Content links can be optimised for search engines to include the content name (e.g. /My-Product). Fixes: • For sites with ecommerce, minor adjustments have been made to the cost calculations. • Newsletter sending is more robust when encountering errors. • For sites with membership, a minor fix has been made to the permissions model. 2.32 EonicWeb 4.1.1.16 Released: 24/04/2009 Enhancements: • Mail form attachments have more technical options (such as encoding). Fixes: • For sites with ecommerce, fixed an issue with order e-mails that have no subject line not sending. 2.33 EonicWeb 4.1.1.15 Released: 23/04/2009 New Features: • Mailforms can automatically generate attachments with information from the form into a variety of formats (e.g. XML, Excel, CSV etc) Enhancements: • For sites that import content using Excel spreadsheets, the work in the background has been streamlined, making it quicker. Fixes: • For sites with ecommerce, minor fix to calculations of VAT against discounts. 2.34 EonicWeb 4.1.1.14 Released with EonicWeb 4.1.1.15 New Features: • We can now grab content from a whole site or pages much more easily – e.g. Top 5 News Articles, Latest Published Documents etc. Enhancements: • For sites with ecommerce, added more options when calculating VAT against discounts 2.35 EonicWeb 4.1.1.13 Released: 03/04/2009 Enhancements: • Ecommerce VAT can be optionally rounded up or rounded according to business rules • For sites with membership, we can much more easily accommodate the addition of new types of information to existing members.

2.36 EonicWeb 4.1.1.12 Released: 19/03/2009 New Features: • For sites with membership, we can now build the facility to create an activation form to open up areas of a site to customers who have been given a special activation code. Enhancements: • The admin site will not time out while you are on the site. This means that administrators can enter large amounts of text without the worry that, on submitting their changes, they will be logged out. • In the admin site, the Resource Library loads more quickly. • Simplified the management of registration codes in admin site. • The product synchronisation facility can now optionally remove all products prior to import. Fixes: • For sites with e-commerce that use ProTx as the payment provider, the 3D Secure process is now working. • For sites with e-commerce, if a customer logs off the normal site, they will also be logged off the secure site (where payment is made). • Minor fix applied to tidy up non-standard subject fields in e-mails. • In the admin site while editing content, the related content can now be managed without error pages being displayed.

2.37 EonicWeb 4.1.1.9 Released: 20/02/2009 New Features: • The Image Picker will automatically create thumbnail versions of images for display in the content management system. • For sites with membership, we can now build the facility to search for and e-mail multiple members. Enhancements: • Significantly quicker page loading times. Fixes: • For sites with membership, fixed an error message that appeared when adding users to a group.

2.38 EonicWeb 4.1.1.8 Released: 05/02/2009 Fixes: • For sites with Content Alerts, fixed an issue with the alerts hanging.

2.39 EonicWeb 4.1.1.7 Released: 04/02/2009 Enhancements: • Added features to the Calendar facility.

2.40 EonicWeb 4.1.1.6 Released: 29/01/2009 New Features: • For sites with eCommerce and membership, added the option to not apply the tax rate to specific members. • When creating forms, we can now accommodate uploading of files to, say, user profiles etc. Enhancements: • The Edit menu page is much faster. Fixes: • Fixed an issue with copying pages when content is also being copied.

2.41 EonicWeb 4.1.1.5 Released: 19/01/2009 Incorporates EonicWeb 4.1.1.4 New Features: • Added the facility to have an e-mail form that can send attachments. • For administrators and sites with membership, added an improved facility for resetting user passwords Enhancements: • For sites with Registration Codes, improved the interface for managing the codes, including the facility to download codes to an excel spreadsheet. • Improved data integrity checks on forms. • Calendar facility is much more efficient. Fixes: • For sites with eCommerce, fixed an issue with orders displaying two delivery addresses.

2.42 EonicWeb 4.1.1.3 Released: 06/01/2009 Incorporates EonicWeb 4.1.1.2 New Features: • Added the facility to upload more than one file at a time in the Resource Library. • When creating forms, we can now accommodate similar, repeated information within the same form. • Added the framework for allowing pages to be cloned / located in several parts of the site. Enhancements: • Enhanced resilience for the way forms are processed. • For sites with Content Alerts, added diagnostic tools and improved error handling to the alerts facility. • Improved Random Password generator. • For sites with membership, made registration forms customisable. Fixes: • For sites with eCommerce, applied a fix to a minor issue with the Notes form that appears at the beginning of the cart process.
