Assigning images to experiments
After analysis, images can be assigned to experiment via the experiment dialog:
This dialog contains two lists. On the left side, all defined experiments are listed. The "+" button can be used to add new experiments, the "-" button to delete defined experiments. If a defined experiment is selected, its name, details and notes will be shown in the text boxes in the middle of the dialog. The name, details and notes can be changed by simply modifying the text in these text boxes.
After defining an experiment, images need to be assigned to it. This can be done via the right "+" button. This open an image selection dialog, that contains a list of all currently loaded images. An image can be assigned with a click on its list entry. Multiple images can be selected at once. Images can be deselected via a second click on an entry. The "-" Button unassigns the selected image from the experiment, the "x" button unassigns all images. All assigned images will be shown in the left hand list.
After image selection, the images can be assigned to groups (like negative control, positive control etc.). This can be done via clicking the middle "+" button. This will open the group dialog: This dialog contains two lists: The list of defined groups (left side) and the list of to the selected group assigned images. To assign groups to the experiment, the left "+" button needs to be clicked. This will open a dialog to enter a group name. After this, the defined group will be shown in the left list. To assign images to a group, the group has to be selected via a left click and then the right "+" button needs be clicked. This open an image selection dialog which contains all to this experiment assigned images. Images can be selected as described for experiments. "-" buttons delete the selected group/image. The right x button unassigns all images from the selected group. If the dialog closed via "Ok", the changes will be saved.
