Acting with integrity

For designing the mini-games, we are going to focus on the KPMG training "acting with integrity". The training threats the values and the code of conduct that KPMG employees should follow and how they should react and report in different situations (like bribery). In the game, the training will be represented with one building consisting out of the following floors (representing mini-games):

  1. Introduction – this is not a game, but a small introduction to the subject. It will be represented as a lobby with important info, like floors available, visible.
  2. Framework game – This is a small game that is used to explain how the framework is set-up. Employees learn: what the values are, for whom they are, individual responsibilities, leader responsibilities.
  3. Bribery game – This game is meant to learn people what they can and cannot accept as a “gift”.
  4. Reporting game – This game teaches employees when, how and to who too report in certain situations.
  5. Ethical situation game – This game lets employees experience different situations and decide how to react.
  6. Assesment game – the assessment

It’s important to note that game 2, 3 and 4 become available after game 1 is finished successfully. The same is true for game 5, which will be available after all the others are finished. For the game prototype, the first and third mini-game will be developed.

The framework game

This game will be the second minigame to be developed

The reporting game

For the game prototype, the first and third mini-game will be developed. The reporting game is based on the black stories concept. The player gets a story using the full 3D capabilities of UNITY in which they character remembers something he did or noticed in a previous situation. After the story, the player is back in the office behind his desk where there will be the possibility to fill in the following questions:

  1. Do you have something to report? Yes, No
  2. To whom do you report? Co-worker, engagement partners, risk management partner, etc.
  3. What do you report multiple choice of different keywords in story

After the questions have been answered, a short story shows the consequences of your choices. These consequences will be exaggerated or the worst-case scenario to make sure the message is clear.
