Summary

The goal of this set of work is to minimize the level of effort for contributors when adding new build-related features to pack while maintaining the same level of quality via acceptance tests.

• Add a test for Add support to embed source metadata from git #1444
• Migrate remaining "build" tests
• Ensure that all acceptance related tests pass when executing make acceptance
• Ensure that compatibility tests pass when executing make acceptance-all
