Parallelizing PostGIS on FASRC

• Launching multiple instances of PostGIS
  • Go to the app launch page
  • Change the location of the database storage area to a new folder:

    /n/scratchlfs02/enos_lab/$USER/$SLURM_JOB_ID
    

  • check box: Initialize the Database store
  • uncheck box: Create DB (as we will restore the database from dumps)
