• Agenda:
  • What materials have been put up and what has yet to be
  • Container availability and functionality
  • Any more detail desired in future meetings?
• Is there desire for presentation at future meetings about things such as the aries latency sampler or stream functionality
  • Security over all and Stream security
  • Prioritize list of topics from developer meetings and put on the schedule
• Documentation about "env", Stream, etc. functionality needs to be put into the man pages and other documentation
  • Weak point for LDMS in general -- shouldn't depend on catching the right tutorial
  • Need to figure out a good documentation strategy that can apply to all published functionality
    • In-tree documentation e.g., in the doc directory to more closely associate with code changes
• Scripts for generation of prdcr_add list for aggregators
  • Examples could be put in an "example_scripts" directory (/usr/share/doc)
    • Would like to get examples taken out of the operational directory (/opt/ovis/etc)
• Goal for RPMs to be a least common denominator that can be used as a base for other things
  • Put a working configuration file in /opt/ovis/etc that uses the base configuration
  • Would need to keep locked down so as not to be a security risk
    • Need to explore this more...
• Send out notification about path forward with v4.3.4 moving to beta
• Discussion point in next meeting: Would like to address how we will move to v5 - how much has been put into 4 and not ported to 5
• Tutorial materials have been posted to the LDMSCON2020 Tutorials page (https://sites.google.com/view/ldmscon2020/tutorials?authuser=0)
  • Still missing advanced LDMS tutorial 11 but will be posted soon
• Still working on video trimming
• Still working on scripts but will post this week
