The transmission selector has a 10 pin connector. The pinout of that connector is as follows:
Pin | Purpose |
---|---|
1 | +12V input |
2 | W/S selector button output |
3 | Ground |
4 | TRRS A |
5 | TRRS B |
6 | |
7 | Unknown - Goes to relay box |
8 | |
9 | TRRS C |
10 | TRRS D |
In the above table, there were 4 pins labelled TRRS
. These 4 pins will output either a high or low voltage depending on the shift levers position. The following truth table shows which lines are at a high voltage 1
, or a low voltage 0
depending on the shifter position. A high voltage is ~10V, where a low voltage is 0V.
Selector position | TRRS A | TRRS B | TRRS C | TRRS D |
---|---|---|---|---|
P | 1 | 1 | 1 | 0 |
R | 0 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
N | 1 | 0 | 1 | 1 |
D | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 |
4 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 1 |
3 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 |
2 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
1 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 1 |
